Prof. Dr. Nejc Šarabon is a physiotherapist, kinesiologist, researcher, and university teacher with more than two decades of experience in movement science, rehabilitation, and sports diagnostics. As Dean of the University of Primorska Faculty of Health Sciences, he leads the faculty’s academic, research, and professional development while remaining actively engaged in international research collaborations. His scientific work focuses on biomechanics, neuromuscular function, prevention of musculoskeletal injuries, and the development of objective measurement systems for sports and healthcare applications. He has authored several hundred scientific publications with strong international impact and collaborates closely with elite athletes, healthcare institutions, and industry partners. Beyond academia, he is recognized for connecting science with real-world practice, fostering innovation, and promoting evidence-based approaches that improve rehabilitation outcomes, movement quality, health, and sports performance.
